We are committed to providing compassionate, integrative mental health care that prioritizes the whole person. This role is ideal for a practitioner who values holistic, client-centered treatment and is passionate about supporting individuals through a trauma-informed lens. Qualifications: If a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, provide evidence of a rendering physician who oversees their work as required by state regulations. Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Ohio RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP or ANP. Hold Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or be a licensed Psychiatrist. Maintain your own liability insurance. A DEA or CDS number. Strong clinical skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Commitment to evidence-based care and continuous professional development. Experience in trauma or holistic treatment and trauma-informed care is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage own schedule. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Be familiar with and adhere to all ethical and legal standards within their scope of practice. Key Responsibilities: Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations – Comprehensive assessments that may include ordering lab work to evaluate for underlying conditions such as hypothyroidism, anemia, and vitamin deficiencies. Medication Management Follow-Up Appointments – Ongoing assessment of medication efficacy and adjustments as needed. Psychopharmacology Genetic Testing – If applicable, offering genetic testing to help guide medication decisions, depending on provider expertise and patient needs. Submit Prescriptions & Handle Prior Authorizations – Use SimplePractice EHR ePrescribe for prescription management and process any required prior authorizations for medications. Manage Client Correspondence – Handle scheduling, client communication, and treatment plans independently. Credentialing & Insurance Coordination – If not already credentialed with major insurance companies, work on obtaining insurance credentialing; if already in-network, manage the process of adding Pathways Family Counseling as a service location. Integrate Trauma-Informed & Holistic Principles – Utilize a whole-person approach to psychiatry that considers emotional, physical, and social factors. Collaborate with Our Multidisciplinary Team – Work alongside therapists, wellness providers, and other holistic practitioners to offer well-rounded care. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality mental health services to clients in accordance with best practices. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Qualifications: Education: Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. Licensure: LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, IMFT, MFT, with a minimum of at least three years of clinical experience. Additional Considerations: Supervision provided for LPCs.
